Bath Time For Willy

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
After selecting an everyday occurrence, I created a timeline that could visually represent all of the individual events that take place during a child’s bath time. Once completed, I created the corresponding package design and visual system for a product that would ease the human vs. human conflict between mothers and children during bath time.

PROJECT CONCEPT/DESIGN GOALS
Children do not always love bath time before going to bed. It’s a very stressful time for parents to make sure that they have everything they need to make their child willing to get into the tub and be able to make it into bed on time. I created a timeline that illustrated the events that occur between a mother and child, and brains stormed different products that could ease the burden of this event. After selecting to create a bath toy assortment, I then began researching and sketching out a design for this package and created a visual system that was informational. I showcased the timeline with icons that could be easily understandable and incorporated a child-like color pallet for a shopper to realize that this item is for a younger audience instantly. These ideas are reinforced with a rounded font for softness and high contrast colors for easy legibility.
